Meet Realtors of Moncks Corner!

The realtors that work with Foxbank Plantation are all stars! We talked with Drew Sineath and dating over 50 site about what makes Moncks Corner such a great place to live:

Tell us about yourself and how you became a realtor in the area.

Drew: I got my start in the mortgage industry in 1997 when I started South Carolina Mortgage Company. I earned my real estate license in 2000 and practice both real estate and mortgage through the beginning of 2002. I decided to make real estate my full-time career and maintained my license under a local real estate firm for the next 5 years. In 2007, I started my own real estate firm called Drew Sineath & Associates. Our office was located in Goose Creek and served the entire Charleston, tri-county area. After owning my own real estate firm for 10 years, I decided to join forces with Carolina One Real Estate. So in 2017, I joined the Metro North (Goose Creek) office of Carolina One Real Estate. The office is located in Crowfield Plantation, where I also reside with my family: my wife April and my two beautiful daughters, Ellie and Nora.

Amanda: I was working in the hospitality industry before I started working for Sabal Homes. I was bartending at a restaurant in downtown Charleston, and Sabal was there for a celebratory dinner. One of the consultants for Sabal suggested that I should shadow one of their employees for a day if I was ever interested in getting into real estate. Everyone was having so much fun and the camaraderie between the employees was so vibrant and boisterous that I figured I shouldn’t pass up the opportunity. I shadowed a Sabal Homes community sales manager for a few hours and immediately signed up for real estate classes the next day. I applied to be an assistant sales agent and have now been a community sales manager for Sabal Homes for about three years.

What are the best benefits of living in Moncks Corner?

Drew: Moncks Corner is really an amazing place. It has it all: the national forest and Lake Moultrie. For those that like the outdoors and privacy, it provides both. It is also still really close to modern conveniences and now boasts multiple new schools such as Foxbank Elementary in Foxbank Plantation.

Amanda: Moncks Corner is a great place for people that enjoy the outdoors and new adventures. Anglers love the quick accessibility to Lake Moultrie and the waterways in between including the Old Santee Canal Park and Cooper River.  No boat, no problem! There are plenty of free kayak launch locations nearby. Can’t forget Cypress Gardens, a fascinating nature preserve and gardens. Tour the “swamparium” and see reptiles, fish and amphibians, butterfly house and walking trails through the swamp gardens for a fun educational experience. Plus, all this nature is convenient to town and life’s modern conveniences.

What do you love most about Foxbank Plantation?

Drew: Foxbank Plantation is a beautiful planned development. It boasts a huge man-made lake that provides beautiful views for many homeowners as well as some top-notch amenities. The amenities include a small dock, a recreation area and a lakeside pool. The homeowners can enjoy sidewalks and several park areas. The front entrance of the community has great open spaces that are perfect for soccer games, frisbee or whatever your passion may be. There is also another private pond that gives the homeowners privacy in their backyard.

Amanda:  Foxbank Plantation is a tranquil community that truly inspires the Lowcountry lifestyle of sipping sweet tea on your front porch and being present. It’s nice to come home and slow things down with all of the leisurely amenities Foxbank Plantation provides including, a 67-acre lake with an outdoor pavilion and fishing docks, bike paths, playground, two pools (resort-style and sport lap pool), 141 protected wetlands and onsite fitness center. Everything you need is right outside your front door: restaurants, your pet’s vet, salon and spa, Foxbank Elementary School and Haven Ridge Church. A new grocery store will be built right at the front entrance along with an expanding town center. A lot of people that work for the major industries such as aerospace, IT, automotive and medical gravitate here because of the convenient commute and it’s nice to avoid some of the more heavily congested areas.
